Have you tried to use Round-up on a long swab? (Like they use for a throat culture, etc.) I think you should be able to get them from a medical supply store & I would think that would be more productive than the forceps because you could kill the roots. I've read that you don't need to cover the entire weed. Just dab it on where you can. I, too, am plagued by Oxalis in nearly every garden & bed but my cactus "collection" is limited to 11 small prickly pears in a brand new bed. I will try to stay ahead of the oxalis in that bed to save myself a lot of grief. Thanks for the article!
