Hi,

Can anyone identify this little plant for me? I'm pretty sure it's a type of sedum, but the tag was missing. I have several types of sedums in my garden, but haven't seen this one.

Before I plant it, I want to make sure it will survive in Zone 8.

Thanks for your help!

The leaves look like a dischidia, but I've never seen one as beautiful as this. I know there's a pepperomia with similiar coloring. I'll look through some of my succulent books and get back with you.

It's Crassula pellucida ssp marginalis or another similar Crassula.

I'm so glad you were able to ID this plant. I have spent the last couple hours looking through my plant books. I love this plant! I hope I can find one. I knew I couldn't sleep until someone solved this mystery!!!

Thank you so much Carlos! Now I at least know that it won't be able to handle the frost, and I'll have to shelter it over the winter.

Believe it or not, I bought this at a hardware store. They get the most unique plants, but unfortunately, some of them won't survive our winters outside.

Thanks Chris for taking the time to look into this also.
