I'm hesitating as it was growing among bog vegetation on the border of a small lake together with plants like the watermint, Myositis palustris, Lythrum salicaria etc.. According to my botany book the normal habitat of this plant is on rather dry sandy soils..
I know there is also a Senecio aquaticus but I didn't find good images of it on the web.

My picture might not be good enough for ID but I want to give it a try..
Didn't think about botany at the moment only was charmed by the beauty of the wildflowers..

I have no detailed picture of the foliage and stem which was redish, but a close-up of the flowers with visitor. It's from another plant though growing a bit further away from the lake, but I think it's the same..

Agree with Senecio jacobaea. The 'frilly' much-lobed leaves and stiff stems fit perfectly. S. aquaticus has the leaves less lobed, and laxer habit: [HYPERLINK@ip30.eti.uva.nl]
