I think this is salvia viscosa but I am not sure. Any other ideas? Thanks

May be the foto shows flowers of Salvia viscosa, but the leaves surely are from an other plant...

Yes, the leaves belong to either Acer japonicum or Acer shirasawanum...

The flowers look very much like Chilean native Stachys (grandidentata, phillippii, etc.), only that they have deeper 'wrinkles' in the velvety leaves (mainly silver colored leaves, but green ones as well).

I think you will find your plant amongst them.

Are you growing them in the shade? I think the plant would be more compact if you grow it in full sun.
