Plant and Tree Identification: What is this plant?

Ursula Santiago (Chile) (Zone 9b) July 20, 2008 11:40 PM Post #5293965 The flowers look very much like Chilean native Stachys (grandidentata, phillippii, etc.), only that they have deeper 'wrinkles' in the velvety leaves (mainly silver colored leaves, but green ones as well). Are you growing them in the shade? I think the plant would be more compact if you grow it in full sun. Hugs, Ursula
