I bought a Fernleaf peony this spring, acquired with 3 buds, 2 bloomed after planting. The foilage disappeared a month ago...browned. I've left the plant alone hoping that I'll see a bigger plant sprouting next spring.
Did the Fernleaf die ? IS is possible that the frequent rains led to expiration ? Or is this how Fernleafs behave in the midwest heat ?
thank you
