Today was judging day at our county fair, and sad to say, with all the cultivars available in daylilies, the "orange" class became a matter of choosing one Rocket City over another. The only orange cultivar presented for judging that was not Rocket City was H. fulva 'Flora Pleno'.

So, my challenge for next year is to obtain an orange that blooms this time of year and has a chance of standing out on a table full of Rocket City...

Any ideas?
