The second lovely in the abandoned yard is a purple tree. I love purple anythings. What is this one called?

Hard to be certain as it's a very small pic, but I'd guess Purple-leaf Sand Cherry Prunus × cistena

Can you get a close-up of the foliage?

Nope, not smoke tree, that has different leaf shape.

This is as close as we got to some of the leaves. I finally noticed what seems to be fruit, in this photo. I will check it out when I go back there this Sunday, and I'll try to get some more pictures.
