Hi Guys,

Can anybody tell me what this plant is as it's name has been blown away and I cannot remember the name.

Next time I will put a stick in with name. LOL

Thanks,

Debi

Hi All,

No, it has not flowered as yet.

It must have been a plant I wanted, LOL, as I planted it.

Do you think it could be that plant that can grow into a tree with those pink flowers that look Hawian with the long stem in the middle of the flower?

Thanks Friends,

Debi

Do you mean Hibiscus? If so, I don't think it's a hibiscus leaf.

No, definitely not a hibiscus. The leaves do look similar to Duranta as tigerlily suggested, do you remember planting that? [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]

Hi growgirl59,

Hibiscus is indeed what I was trying to think of.

You are very good with discriptions and solving it.

Thanks Darl,

Hi ecrane3,

I think you are very close because I do remember those little purple flower's.

Even though this has not flowered as yet, I believe you are onto something, Thank You.

It was really tigerlily's idea not mine :-) I just looked at the Plant Files for Duranta and the leaves seemed like a good match. Plus Duranta tends to be a somewhat viney shrub (or a shrubby vine) and that seems to be the growth habit that yours has.

I think, it's Duranta, too. Sometimes there are some little spines at the shoots.
