I have NO idea what this is.

I quote my friend in California:
"Thought I would send you a picture of the lily you gave me a couple of years ago. I had all but given up on the red one. But low and behold One lone flower popped up. It is beautiful, no leaves kinda like a naked lady.

Any ideas?

I have been back through my files looking at co-ops I participated in hoping to find a similar picture but nada.

Clare,
I'm not sure where I got it from; I was in a tropical co-op and had those sent to CA for the house there and happened to share a bulb with my friend there. Most of the stuff I planted out there I don't get to see but I will ask my friend to share as hers divides and get you one. It's so sad to get there and see the spent blooms of an Amaryllis that I've missed.

I took 12 tomato seedlings out there in April and my daughter planted them; just got a report from her today on how they are doing; it's so fun to see her excited about growing tomatoes. And go figure . . she already has ones ripening.

Here we are about a month behind on the tomatoes and we need to get cracking on planning our tomato dinner; I will give Nancy a call. And she will Dmail you. Hope the studies are going well.

Definitely need to get cracking on our tomato dinner! I start class again on Aug 18. Unfortunately, I was late on getting everything out, so I am WAAAY behind. Flooding, etc. Let's see where we end up...
