I am preparing a metal rolling shelf in the garage to over winter my cactus and more hardy hoyas on. I have put some floresent lights to the shelves. The shelves came with solid heavy plastic shelf paper. I just thought it might still be a good idea to put in a safety switch just incase. I was wondering if a surge protector would work here. I was going to use one to plug the lights in was wondering if that would be enough?
