Bird Identification: CLOSED: Really LONG tailed bird!

I tried to get a shot of him outside but he was gone as soon as I turned the doorknob. I usually see this bird on our way into town on the power lines. I was so happy to see him in the yard so I could finally get a pic! I haven't seen him since I took the pic but I hope it will come back. Is there anything I can get to bring them in the yard or is it just luck? They usually line up in the fence row and swoop down as soon as the tractor passes! Hope you get to see them again..they are facinating! I also have been seeing them around lately - they probably love all the summer bugs. They are always perched on the power lines near freshly mowed fields and when I see one I start yelling "scissor tailed flycatcher! scissor tailed flycatcher! scissor tailed flycatcher!" and get all giddy. My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts. He said their tails have been used for inspiration when designing airplanes. Neat!
