Hi, my second post on my dear brug. Bought it at a neighbour's spring plant sale and it sprang to full green life after winter in the basement. However though the leaves are huge and keep growing, bugs of some kind were eating holes in them and it wouldn't bloom. I tried organic and inorganic spray for the bugs, coffee grounds and grub pellets, and have fertilized like crazy. But it won't bloom and now many leaves are yellow especially under the denser growth, and some leaves look burnt or scarred from pesticide spray. I think I have gone way overboard and should have just let the bugs have the odd nibble, seems the more I baby plants the worse they do and the ones I more or less ignore do best. Overprotective!!!
