We bought this tree a couple of years ago and now have forgotten what it is called. Since then I've learned to save all tags etc.. that come with the plants, trees and bushes I buy.

If I recall correctly this tree won't get taller than about 30 feet.

In mid to late spring white flower blossoms appear under the leaves. They are very fragrant and almost remind me of a Gardenia (the smell). The flowers are about 3/4 of an inch and are white.

The leaves are a very dark and shiny green when mature. New leaves are lighter and not shiny at all.

The fruit size has not changed in well over a month. They are from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch across.

I have more pictures of the tree, leaves and fruit, but none of the white flowers.

Thanks in advance!

Johnny

Probably a species of Styrax, but the pic is too small to tell for certain.

Here is a new and different set of pictures. The Styrax looks a lot like it. Do you still think that's what it is?

Yes, I think that is it. Thank you ever so much, Resin.
