| One of the members of our rose society brought in some clippings tonight to show a problem she is experiencing. It started last year with one rose - the new growth was deformed with small curled leaves that stayed green but never grew any larger. No flowers formed. She cut back the deformed foliage and the new foliage was O.K. But this year 11 of her roses are showing the same symptoms. She did a computer search and the only disease she could find that sounded like it was Rose Spring Dwarf disease - a virus. It looks like Round-Up damage to me, so I asked her if she had used Round-Up near the roses, She said she had, but had been careful to avoid any direct contact. What do you think? I'm hoping its Round Up and not a virus. Here's a picture of foliage from her Jacques Cartier:
