I always take tag pictures after shooting plant and bloom pictures and knew as soon as I uploaded them that I didn't get the correct name tag. Hope someone recognizes this.

I'd agree on the foliage being Francoa. It's a different bloom than my Francoa that is blooming now but could be as I think they are all purple'ish.

growin, according to the notes added by jkom51, "F.ramosa has white flowers; F.sonchifolia has pink". The first image in the PF below looks like it needs to be moved if that is the case.

I'm starting to think the plant in your image is 'Rogerson's Form' on this site: [HYPERLINK@www.cgf.net]

[HYPERLINK@www.cgf.net] 2005&width=300&height=400

The other thought was 'Purple Spike'
The species is a much lighter colour. It's also starting to look like F. sonchifolia & F. ramosa are varieties of F. appendiculata.

Moving the image is easy. What did you think about 'Rogerson's Form'? It's a much darker bloom than the species/variety.

Here's the label from the plant if it helps anyone. Looks like it came from Seb. Growers, not Annie's.

The only thing that makes me hesitate on 'Rogerson's Form' is the image you included, there seem to be less blooms on the stalk. The one I saw, all the stalks had the fuller bloom clusters like begoniacrazii's image.
