Love your article! In todays world full of rules, methods, regulations, blah, blah, blah,... I'm all for your kind of thinking. Plus, It's your garden. Have as many piles as your heart desires. My mantra on my own garden is poke it in the ground and see if it grows.

Ha, plantparent! Wish you were my neighbor -- some of mine think I plopped down off the latest Mars rover, complete with tentacles.
