Hi!

I've also posted in the SW forum to see if anyone can give this apt dweller with a fairly decent size balcony some ideas FYI. But thought I'd stop by this apt. forum and see if anyone from the SW posts in here too and could maybe give this newbie gardener some ideas on what works in this rather harsh climate - zone 11 (40s) for winter temp; but we reach 120 ish in the summer time as well?

My balcony faces the south for many hours/most of the day so whatever gets planted on my balcony will have to be incredibly hearty of course and be able to take extreme heat and sun. It can also dip down (to the upper 20s) on occasion in the winter here.

Any ideas?

Thank you!
