Believe or not, my husband was watching an old Christopher Lowell show and saw him reupholster a chair with a new method. He said it was quick and easy and looked great. Does anyone know what this is or where I might find information on it?
I reupholstered my livingroom couch and chair last winter.I really don't know about a new way. I just took off each piece and used each piece as a pattern. took lots of pictures and numbered each piece. What ever came off first went back on last. Pay attention to all detail and keep good notes. It took about 3 weeks and I think it turned out great. Go for it!!! It's not hard just time consuming... I had never done anything like this before...
Wow! The sofa looks brand new. I really like the wall treatment too.
I'm a bit chicken to take on that kind of job, but I am considering it. I really likek the feel of my sofa and want to keep it.
