You are just something else Lady Jane...is there anything you CAN'T do?
Now making fruit leathers?
You know, it sounds like a wonderful snack though :)
I don't have a dehydrator but your pictures made it look scrumptious.
I am serious though, you are SO well rounded and just seem to do everything :)
You are too kind, and you'd be astounded at the long list of things I'm no good at in the least! LOL For example, my crocheting would make a cat laugh... so I rely on the talents of friends like you to decorate my home! :-)
I'm thinking that as easy as fruit leather was to make, it could probably be done in a "solar" dehydrator (screen in the sun -- I know I've seen internet directions for ways to protect drying fruit from insects as well as making sure there's good air circulation etc.) or in the oven on very very low heat... I know you're good at searching the internet, so check around for alternatives methods of drying stuff. This definitely isn't a "picky" sort of recipe. :-)
