Is there a website where I can see pictures of diseases that affect blueberries?
I've have two plants separate from six others. Of these, there appears to be something going on which I originally thought might be lack of water. I live in zone 6, alkaline soil, very dry. I use drip (increased amount lately), have amended the soil and am on the slightly acidic side of the pH scale after many years.
What my plant looks like is irregular browning of the leaves. Spots. The bark on the stems are darker, usually solid color, going up the stem.
Regrettably, I do not know the varieties for sure. These plants are around 8 years old.
I have a Highbush Blueberry Production Manual from Washington State University. A picture looks like canker, but I've not seen fruiting bodies. When, and what do they look like? The entire limb does not die, parts may. I haven't noticed any fruit being affected.
My other group of blueberries are affected by soil born weevils. They are completely separate and I'm in the process of treating them with beneficial nematodes. Any hints for them would be appreciated as well.
