One of the worst cases of dermatitis I've ever had came from bath products which used oil of lavendar in their preparation (bath oil, skin lotion, soap, etc. - - all at a famous spa). My problem is not uncommon; oil of lavendar is a known skin irritant. It was days before the uncomfortable red rash (all over my entire body) subsided. Be forewarned; if you have sensitive skin at all, you might want to pass on any product using this "essential" oil.
