marie_ and I met up with some fellow hostaholics, Trudy and Bruce Van Wyk in Waukon, Ia at the home of Bob Axmear "The Hosta Library". Bob enlightend us with a tour of his wonderful hosta seedlings and breeder plants. We were truely in 'Hosta Heaven'. Bob thought marie_ needed a few more hosta for her gardens so she did not go home empty handed.☺

Many thanks to Jeff for letting you all know that I'm still alive and gardening.

This summer is going fast and I've been so busy trying to get caught up inside and out, that I haven't had much time to play in Dave's Garden. (Thank goodness that I got to the HL Garden.) I've got new work schedule this month, so maybe I can find a little more time to pop in and say hi occassionally. By the way, I'm loosing the battle both inside and outside. I think that I need to be three people for the next few months.
