I sold some of my daylilies earlier this week. Dug them up last Thursday, cleaned and cut the tops off on Friday. I left the tops on the lawn to pick up later. We had a bit of a heat wave. When I went out there this morning, almost a week later, and the darn top is blooming!!! Once again, I'm reminded why I like these plants!!!
