I hate the bugs. They torment my beloved Percherons. So, they come inside all day
and hide in the barn with the fans blowing on them...not a bad life. At night, we
cover them with good fly and bug repellents and let them out like vampires.
What are those huge huge grey and black bee looking things that live in the dirt?
My DH calls them "sweat bees". I think they are mating now, and their queens
or kings are out and laying eggs? They are over an inch long. Gosh almighty!
I have never seen them before, and I hope I don't ever again. EeeeeK!!!!
Mosquitoes take numbers to get at me. My calamine lotion is by my side of the bed
from July to October.
thank you for the wonderful article. Well written and fun to read
