Angels Flight opening her first bloom.
She is a Quad and her Orange colouring is intense already.
Do you like her?

I love her!!!! A wonderful change of color from all those pink ones. How often is she a quad? She is listed as a double in the registry. I wonder if she has made it to the states? What is the fragrance like?

Brenda
Totally my fault, it was growing in a pot, after it flowered I moved it into an 'out of the way place' we then had weeks of torential rain. When I went to check the plant the pot was full of water (I had stood the plant in a hollow to stop it blowing over and the water had not drained away) we live and learn !
DOE41- I will get another cutting from Germany or Holland (I hope)
Alan
PS its already in the States :-)

Lovely blooms... I've an Angels Flight cross.. a seedling this year.. it was one of the few that didn't choose to bloom for me this firsr year.. it will spend the winter inside with me under lights. a gargantuan peach would be fine for my cross...although I'm hoping she's a double..triple..quad.. MMMMM SEXTO... Looking foward to the first SEXTO blooms.. Lovely color Alan.. Hope yours recovers... nicely...

The Chief is an Angel's Flight x Charming cross. The pollen is absolute dynamite and has proven to produce some very nice multi-skirted blooms with smallish flowers that exhibit even skirt separation.
I'm using The Chief entirely for stud as a result.

I believe Angel's Flight is the mjor contributor to the lovely form of the crossed progeny, so I'm doing a lot of backcrossing.
