Does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable outdoor remote control outlet? I need one to turn on my water fountain and outdoor landscape lights. So far, I've tried 2 different ones:

The first was an SVAT WRC101 Wireless Outdoor Remote Control Power Outlet. It worked fine from a distance, and through all the plants. The only problem was that after the first rain, it no longer worked. Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HAVVKG

The second one was a Heath Zenith Outdoor Wireless Kit with Multi-Socket Outlet and Remote. The worked after a rainfall, but I had to stand within 5 feet, instead of the advertised 100'. And then it didn't work consistently. Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OUX9VI

So I'm looking for a reliable, reasonably priced outdoor outlet that will work at a distance of at least 30' feet and will stand up to outdoor weather. Since I'm in New Orleans, freezing temps are not a problem. Please help.

I have a Heath remote. The unit came with two remote units, one weatherproof and one not weather proof. The control has two buttons for activation. I have one in a sheltered location and is used to turn on outside lights. The weatherproof one is plugged into an outlet in my gazebo and is used to turn on a pump that supplies water to a large waterwheel. We have had many storms with rain that have blown through the gazebo. Also, my sprinkler system wets down the gazebo three times a week. I have never had a failure. Perhaps buying a weatherproof PVC electrical enclosure and installing the remote in it would be a solution. Home Depot has weatherproof enclosures along with weather resistant hubs with rubber grommets for the cords.
