You can see the leaves better in this one. I have some Roscoe curcuma I wonder if this is that never have seen this color before. I have the pink wonder but it didn't bloom for me this year its huge I think i messed up planting it in the ground. Might have to be pot bound to flower.

Thanks there coming from Homestead Fl one day I'm going to have to take a ride there. Mulberry Walmart get there fruit trees and all the neat stuff from there.They have some regular ginger 12 and this was 10 they make 100% on plants. I like to wait till flowers are gone mark down 50% Never knew there was so many different colors and verigated too.

Moodene your hidden ginger have you ever had a problem with them not flowering? Mine have grown huge but no bloom and I am wondering if its from taking them out of the pot. Do they have to be pot bound to bloom the pots were bent the roots were so big they were in 3 gallon so I just put them in the ground. They seem to like it were I put them but no bloom

Here in Austin there are huge Cucurmas in the ground in one of the public gardens---and they bloom their heads off.

I believe that is french kiss ginger. It is one of only four kinds I have and it loves the sun and blooms all the time.
