Regret to admit that last year I hastily planted some very nice peonies in too small a part of a raised bed that, it turns out, doesn't really get enough sun for them.
Now I am ready to re-plant in a decent place prepared just for them (along the inside of a retaining wall, at the bottom of a slope, with good sun and good soil.)
I have read that peonies don't like to be moved. Any suggestions for doing a better job this time? Do you think they will forgive me? I absolutely adore peonies and am so looking forward to them getting established and happy.
