I planted this dahlia in the spring of '07. This dahlia produces some blooms that are solid magenta, some are solid white or pinkish, and some are magenta with varying numbers of white petals. It reseeded, producing a number of seedlings this spring. So far, the offspring are interesting; all are singles and show the same variations of bloom colors. The first photo is Freak of Nature, the parent dahlia. These blooms are all on one stem.
