I'm planning on installing a ceramic tile as a backsplash in my kitchen. The tile is 11x15, and looks like a lot of 1"x2 1/2" small tiles. The "grout" between these inserts is very shiny, like the remainder of the tile. I'm concerned that when I do my actual grouting between the tiles, that it will not have this shiny look and will not match. Any suggestions about the grout? Is there such a thing as a shiny sealer?
Sealers penetrate and evaporate into the grout, epoxy is more shiny, you could with a little brush ...paint on some marine grade shellac and then quickly wipe off tiles, done it on stone and it works and last
