I was given some Genoaese Basil seeds.
Would a plant grow as a houseplant? I noted they need full sun. Would a sunny window do? The one i planted this spring was grown in half shade.Did fine and is just blooming.

I've tried bringing in potted basils, but they haven't flourished long in my sunny window... Maybe seedlings would do better; I'm not sure. I think I might try putting a window box of basil on my light stand this winter, though. :-)

We'll compare notes in January, when we're enjoying fresh basil on top of our winter casserole dishes!
