I LOVE that I remind you of your Gramma!
If we could work together in this world as your family did, what a place it would be, eh?
Thank you, Shar.
I need to know how to make rose hip jelly. I have, like so much other fruit that's growing on its own on this property, roses everywhere. I've been eyeballing those hips for three years now, wondering what to do. This is the year I'll know, especially after seeing Carol's lovely jelly. I've never even tasted it.
I just hated being treated like a kid, too, always an attitude.
Well, it isn't that YOU remind me of her, it was your words that did it!
Thanks for your idea, it was fun to write.
I'll see what I can find about rose hip jelly...
Yes, of course...and for this venue, my words are me...lol
I think I'm alive in the wrong era.
Thanks, Sharon. I've been doing the same - finding info on rose hip jelly. It's important to use what we have, I think, even if I don't do, rather than yearn after something that's not here.
This brought back memories of my mother making grape jelly from grapes which grew behind our house. I must have been about five or six years old, and I helped by washing the fruit...swishing the grapes around in galvanized tubs. Somehow in that process, I ended up with a spider bite on my hand. Perhaps that's why, to this day, I'm afraid of spiders.
It made me smile to see an article written and inspired by two of my favorite DGers.
