Sheesh, maybe we SHOULD call the install number to 1800geeksquad?!
We have a new digital LCD TV but the DVD player is older, from 2003 and not digital.
DH is pretty good when it comes to hooking up this kind of stuff but in this case all the movies, even when they are widescreen, are only playing in a square section on the TV.
The manual for the TV is pretty vague. It doesn't even talk about hooking up surround sound or DVD players TO the TV. The only thing DH can conclude is that we might need to upgrade to a digital DVD player to get it to play in widescreen. Opinions?
