Here is my Archontophoenix myolensis, one of only 3 surviving Archontophoenix (save one dinky king palm) in my front yard from the freeze of Jan 07 (other 6 are history). It was dead for about 8 months, but since the trunk was green I was reluctant to dig it up. Then that frazzled leaf started to poke it's way out about a year ago, and now it is making normal leaves again. Hope the trunk fattens up or this is gonna be one scrawny Archontophoenix. Anyway, don't give up on palms if they have some green in them, and keep dumping antifungals down the dark hole where the spikes and leaves used to come out of... they actually may help.
