Hi all--
I'm a regular on the heirloom and tomato boards...just found this board!
Just wondering if anyone else is going to the field day on Sept. 8 at Cornell Univ. Several of their plant breeders have been working on projects with open pollinated plants for organic growers...an area ignored by most breeders. NOFA-NY is sponsering the event.(more info on the NOFA-NY webpage under "events") I grew 105 tomatoes organically this year with only a few pest/disease problems. I'm looking forward to walking through their fields and seeing the results of their projects.
I also plan to offer some tomato seeds to my Dave's garden friends from my tomato trials after all of the seed saving is done! Watch the tomato board in December.
