I don't know who to let know that a lady came to the DG Marketplace but just wanted some help for me to put a group of plants together for her. She didn't know how to do it on the Market place and even wanted some plants that weren't offered.

Anyway...Dave, I owe you for 75.00 of merchandise plus shipping(which I know you don't take)...

This is so much fun and the least I can do is pay the very small amount that I owe.
I also owe for 45.00 another lady bought but didn't know how to do it...the plants weren't listed but she knew I had sinningias or she wouldn't have asked me for more.

This is one main reason I almost quit selling on the marketplace, I would like to not have a HUGE Bill when it's finally billed to me. I'm not sure why a monthly statement can't be sent out. but it makes me not wan tto sell any longer till some kind of payment invoice is in place here.

I don't see why one would have to pay fees on something they sold outside of the marketplace.

I am only listing what I ended up selling because of my DG marketplace ads. One lady said I have 75.00 to spend but don't know how to use DG. Another lady said ,"I know your sinningias are all gone but could I have some"...that is where the 45.00 came from.

I don't care when I get a bill from Dave...at 3% you must be selling mighty expensive plants to worry about his bill.

Dave may have extended the courtesy period since the marketplace brings in lots of new members and subscribers.

when the marketplace was first started, Dave gave a 2 week period where selling fees were waived (I've been selling since it first started). If you read back thru this forum I know I asked how to get the money to him (i.e. was it per sale, per month, etc.) on some thread. At that time he said he would bill us buy $5.00 increments. He probably has much bigger fish to fry than billing us for our fees. I've just been keeping an approximate 3% of each sale in PayPal for whenever he does this. So its not a problem to me whenever he decides to bill it.

I don't know how Dave is going to get DG Marketplace where people have to buy through there...I am getting dmails from my ads on the Markplace wanting to place orders...have had several of them do this but DG is not getting any money from these sales...He may have to get tough and do like ebay...where people have to go through ebay to sell or buy...and they get kicked off if they don't????????????????
I don't have any answers...just concern.

I think the right thing to do if people are dmailing you about things you have on marketplace is to give them instructions on how to place the order through the marketplace. If people are asking you about other things that you don't have listed in marketplace then that's a little different, but to me if you have something advertised in marketplace then to me it doesn't seem right to complete that order over dmail rather than using the marketplace. If people are dmailing you because they're confused about how to place an order, either walk them through the process or if you don't feel comfortable doing that then they (or you) can post over here for instructions and someone else can probably help.

I will dmail them and ask them to go to the Marketplace and place it there even though I know what they are ordering it can still go through my ad...thanks...

That's what I do, They say they don't know how to purchase through the marketplace, but it's easy enough, I've had this happen to, and I've told them they just have to go back to the page that they saw the item and purchase it from there.
that the check out procedure is self explanitory and they shouldn't have any problems purchasing from the marketplace.

Ok...I'm confused. If the buyer D-Mailed you, I would think that the intent for the sale came from Dave's Marketplace? Right? OR...are you advertising somewhere else and directing people to your items on the Marketplace? Maybe I just read things wrong?

I think what's going on is that people are seeing something on the marketplace, but then they are confused on how to buy it, so instead of buying the item through the marketplace like they're supposed to, they're dmailing the seller about it and trying to buy directly from the seller.

I owe Dave if and when he starts charging. What happens is the same. The buyer finds one thing for sale and then asks, "Do you have more columneas, etc. to sell?" and I made two more nice sales on one plant featured each time.

I have had that happen and I just walk them through the process by D-mail. I have even created "special" sales of certain quantities and price breaks just for them.
