I read about some women who are making welder's hats for helmet liners for our service men to absorb sweat and to cut down on friction from the helmet. Does anyone know where I can get a free pattern for a welder's hat? My web search either wants me to buy a commercial pattern or take an actual hat and tear it apart.
I am not sure what welders hat looks like..but i have made many hats, sent to Iraq. I use the thin solid colors polar fleece, two layers, so it could be reversible. I took apart a knit fabric winter hat to use for a pattern. . I think I got the hat at wal-mart. It was very easy to take apart, and make pattern of
