I can't seem to locate the seeds on my delphiniums so that I can collect some to winter sow. I see the seed pods, but when I open them up there is nothing that looks like the chips I know to be a delphinum seeds -- just extremely small bits of dust.
I can see that about half of these seed pods are open and half are closed, and I'm afraid they are all dropping to the ground before I can catch them. I hope they self-seed, but I'd also like to save some.
Can anyone help me figure out how (and when) to harvest? I have a Blue Bird and a Pacific Giant Mix.
