Wondering if anyone had any ideas on what we should see on our driving trip to Vermont. We will be staying in a bed and breakfast in Marshfield (close to Mt. Pelelier). We leave Arkansas on the 27 of Sept and check into our BnB on the 29th. Anxious to see the covered bridges and other scenery. We are hoping that the leaves are beautiful at that time. Taking a chance on that. Laverne

We too are going to Vermont -- a week later -- and would appreciate any suggestions on things to see. Botanical gardens? Museums? Anyone?

Woodstock Vermont can be a day in itself.

Billings Farm & Museum is fun; funded by Rockefellers.

Calvin Coolidge homestead w/ small, very basic sandwich area.

Woodstock Inn, which may still be serving Thursday dinners for the locals.

    Quechee Gorge.

Simon Pierce Glass and Pottery sales and demonstrations.

Simon Pierce Restaurant, call ahead for reservations. Recommended!

Several interesting shops along the main street.

Bed and breakfasts' are quality for the most part.

On over to Hanover NH to stroll Dartmouth College if you are going that way.
