Two years ago I started a trail through my woods, and ordered about 300 bulbs from Van Engelen, Inc. Springtime was a treat, and the deer left them alone. I'll order more this year and continue the treat. I will print out your info and maybe be able to tell the different squill apart. Now I'm going to order dog tooth violet. Thank you, but how can I think spring when it's still 85 out. I've been pulling garlic mustard all summer - still much to go. White snakeroot is now in bloom - the deer destroyed the great blue lobelia and the white wood asters. Sure wish they would eat the garlic mustard. Even the ground hog lets it be. I shall pull more tomorrow and think spring. Thank you!
