Fall is my favorite planting time. I load up a bunch of trays designed for holding perennials that all my friends divide and off I go to help them do the divisions. In return, I come home with a load of plants with healthy roots that fit nicely in my beds. Occasionally I even buy a few nursery stock if the price is right!
