We have Pawpaw Trees here in Louisiana. I knew the Zebra swallowtails needed them so I wanted one for my garden. After keeping a look out for some time and resisting the urge to uproot a baby from a state park, I got one. At a local garden show and sale a local grower had some nice little saplings in gal. pots. It is so rewarding to finally find the thing one has been looking for. But where to plant it? Which brings me to this article and many thanks. You've answered all my questions and more!

Alice, how wonderful that you found the article. And I am excited that you have a new baby pawpaw tree. You will love it.
Thanks for writing, and let me know how it grows!
