Hi Carrie,

I treated myself big time yesterday. I had what I call "Found money" (cash rebate from credit card) that paid for most of my treat. I purchased a Woodstock Gregorian Chime, Baritone, and a Texas Longhorn Dinner Bell (pictures attached). Last Thursday, when Austin was in Hurricane Ike's direct path northward from Corpus Christi, TX, we were supposed to have high winds and heavy rain on Saturday. I took down all of my wind chimes, patio furniture, etc., and stored them in my garage. Well everyone knows that Ike decided to land at Galveston so the path north changed to east Texas. We did not get one drop of much-needed rain! In fact, we did not get ANY rain from the last three hurricanes that have hit the Gulf Coast. East Texas is saturated.

At any rate, when I rehung the wind chimes Saturday, I decided to not put up two of my older chimes. The wind chime I purchased yesterday is now a companion for my Music of the Spheres wind chime. The backyard is hearing wonderful music occasionally. My neighbors on either side of me have said they never hear them so that is a relief.

Have a great day!
Delores

That baritone chime is BIG! It must sound great. What a fun treat! I see you've posted the Longhorn Chime separately - now I'll have to find a site that will play that one for me! Thanks for stopping by.
