Jill,

Great idea and article. DH and I planted a ton of crocus for mom this year; will be planting some again this year. Maybe we will surprise her with a treasure or two this way.

I put in some tulips and daffs at our parents' places last fall, and I made sure some "little bulbs" got into the act. They loved seeing them pop up this past spring! I think I enjoyed their flowers (which I didn't see in person but heard all about) more than the ones blooming at my place. I'm sure your mom adored her crocus blooms, too!

I love the anticipation of planting fall bulbs. :-)
