Good job of writing about a noxious job!

I could never get those amendments spread right no matter which spreader I used... they'd either skip and dump, or totally dump, LOL. Now in a new place, I know this 'grass' needs some pre-emergent weed control, and no doubt some fertilizer. I'm waiting on soil samples. The pre-emergent weed control is a problem because my yard slopes down to a wide creek fronting this yard.

You're kind, darius, thanks. Not too much joy to be had in lawn care, in my book. And yes- thats tricky keeping the stuff on and not poisoning the creek. I was shocked at how expensive the corn gluten is. (on top of the price of everything else these days)
