I over wintered this lantana in the basement last year. It was put outside after frost with bare limbs and about 1 ft in size. She is about 4 ft tall and 4 ft wide - I've never seen a lantana in VA that large. I really don't want to lose one this size.
Should I try to protect it while in the ground like many do roses? Should I dig it up when frost hits? Our frost date in around mid-October and this thing is flowering like it's July. She's beautiful. I can dig it up and put in a large pot. What is recommended for the best chance of saving this huge lantana?
