I dug up the cactus-style peony that has been in my garden a couple of years and bloomed last spring. Maxine volunteered to take it off my hands as I am not a big fan of this type of peony. I just dug it up a few minutes ago, and the Klehm tag was still attached - and it is a "Sweet Marjorie" that Klehm had sent as an extra gift and I guess I just didn't remember. In a sense I hate to give it up, even though I thought it was homely, since it did so well, because it produced 9 flowers last year in its second spring in the ground - and today when I dug it up I counted at least 27 eyes including the smaller ones!! Who says Texas isn't a good place for peonies, LOL?
