There is nothing more irritating than visiting a nursery in which plants do not carry the botanical
name for a simple reason: if you have internet, reference books, that is all you need to care for the plant to grow healthy or to find out solutions for pest and disease.

You're right! And if you confuse one common name with another, that can spell doom for the plant. I'm grateful for the talented & knowledgeable folks who hang out in the Plant ID forum. :-)

Thanks for reading and responding... it's good to have another voice chime in about the importance of botanical names!
