Hubby and I are taking care of my 74 year old invalid Father. He had mutliple stokes, and left him hanicapped, so we make 3 different kinds of coffee here.
My dad will drink nothing but Folgers, and he likes it strong. My hubby drinks nothing but Maxwell house smooth blend, and I can't handle the caffien, so I drink Maxwell house decafe. But when I brew mine, (4 cups) I place a teaspoon of cinnamon in with the coffee, and it is so good. We all use cream and sugar.
Thanks for article. It is truly amazing how much money, one will spend for a cup-o-joe!

Thank you for the yummy recipes. I enjoy my two cups daily just to get me going, however, do like coffee flavors in ice cream. The grounds go into the compost.

taters -- when i met my hubby, he too used to add Cinnamon to the grounds... and we used to drink Folgers.

Now we are Starbucks drinkers ... i started that about 5-6 yrs ago, but a lil over 3 yrs ago, my oldest son started working there, so at least now, i dont have to pay for the beans. [and with the economy in the shape that it is in... i quit buying the $3-5 drink ... now i just do the fancier stuff at home]

Thanks for the great article ... certainly gives me more creative ideas for drinks.

i am a coffee snob--cannot drink anything but the upscale starbucks type coffees---i always loved anything coffee flavored except coffee--about 10 years ago i started loving coffee too but it has to have some cream--i look forward to tying your recipes

taters55 Linda Kay,

Wow...sounds like a busy day with three different types going. I think I'll put some cinnamon in w/ the coffee grounds tomorrow. Sounds interesting.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

tcs1366,

You are welcome. Enjoy the great coffee. I just read in the newest Reader's Digest the other day that coffee has a lot of antioxidants. I handed that page to my husband. LOL

Thanks!
