Hi all. I have a Japanese red maple seeding (I don't have an ID on it.) that a friend gave me from her garden. It's growing beautifully in a pot on my deck at the moment. It's approx. 12 - 15" tall with a trunk smaller round than a pencil.
What should I do with it? I'm afraid that if I plant it the snow will snap it like the twig it is.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Lora B.
PS. I posted this last night on the Trees forum and it was suggested that I repost here for more specific info.
